Though, at the same time, I thought, “Hey, I’m not alone, I’m not the only one in the same situation,” but the thing is, I had faith. I had faith all these years, more than 6 years living in the U.S, thinking to myself if the situation of millions of immigrants (45.5 million is what I heard) is going to get any better, but it seems that things get worse as time goes by. It seems that we get fewer and fewer opportunities to stay in United States; I just hope for a new law that can help immigrants to fix their situation here, so they don’t have to go back to their countries and deal with a 10-year penalty as punishment for staying here illegally. I still have faith, faith should never be lost.
